Cbank: Russians' inflationary expectations rise to 11.5% in Dec

MOSCOW, Dec 24 (PRIME) -- Russians’ inflationary expectations for the next 12 months amounted to 11.5% in December, rising by 1.4 percentage points on the month, the central bank said in a statement on Thursday.

“The median assessment of observed inflation stood at 11.5%, 1.4 percentage points higher than in November. The change was simultaneous for the respondents with and without savings,” the regulator said.

The median estimate of inflation for the past 12 months also rose by 1.3 percentage points to 12%.
